What is this space about?
The National Initiatives is a space for dialogue and exchange among the many European programmes and strategies shaping the development of Virtual Worlds.
At its core are periodic meetings that bring together representatives from national initiatives, public authorities, research organisations, and industry. These gatherings provide a forum to share experiences, discuss best practices, and identify opportunities for collaboration, ensuring that each national effort contributes to a coherent and inclusive European vision.
Through these discussions, participants explore best practices, business models, or how emerging technologies, from extended reality and AI to data spaces, digital twins, and immersive infrastructures, can be integrated and scaled across borders. The meetings foster trust, transparency, and a shared understanding of challenges and successes, strengthening Europe’s collective capacity to innovate.
Registration links for upcoming meetings will be added soon.
