Meet the OPENVERSE Colleagues at Europe’s Leading Forum for Data and AI Innovation in Copenhagen!

Starting today, 12 November 2025, and running until Friday 14, the European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) will bring together in Copenhagen the leading minds in Europe’s AI and data community — including industry leaders, researchers, business developers, policymakers, and innovators from across the continent and beyond. This premier event will serve as a vibrant platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, advancing policy, and shaping Europe’s digital future. EBDVF 2025 is a unique opportunity to gain cutting-edge insights into applied research, innovation, and policy in data and AI. Participants will engage with Europe’s top experts, industry representatives, and decision-makers through interactive sessions and networking opportunities designed to spark new collaborations and partnerships.

Organised by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA) — a proud partner of the OPENVERSE initiative — in collaboration with DTU (Technical University of Denmark) and SDU (University of Southern Denmark), EBDVF 2025 is the flagship event for Europe’s data and AI industry-driven research and innovation community.

This year’s theme, “Empowering Europe’s Future with AI and Data,” underscores Europe’s ambition to harness the transformative power of data and artificial intelligence. Data and AI are vital engines of economic growth, competitiveness, and innovation, driving advancements in healthcare, sustainable energy, transport safety, and digital transformation, reinforcing Europe’s leadership in the global data economy.

EBDVF 2025

The EBDVF 2025 programme will feature over 40 sessions exploring the most pressing topics in Europe’s data and AI landscape — from Industrial AI and the rise of AI Factories and Gigafactories to Generative AI, interoperability, and AI value creation. Discussions will also connect to the AI Continent Action Plan and the European Data Union, highlighting how data spaces are becoming central to Europe’s digital ecosystem.

A key highlight will be the BDVA i-Space Ceremony, recognising excellence among Europe’s data-driven innovation hubs. The i-Space label is a prestigious quality benchmark, now held by 31 hubs across 20 countries, each advancing secure data-sharing and AI experimentation across Europe.
